IMD Box (Insulation Monitor) is an insulation monitor that monitors the ungrounded system between an active phase conductor and ground. It disconnects the power supply when the resistance between the two conductors falls below a set value. This means that grounding, for example with a ground rod, is not required during mobile operations. Complies with EN64557-8 requirements.
